Our Story
At Fiber Flow, our journey started with a simple yet pressing question: How can we help people access clean water in a way that’s both impactful and kind to the planet? As we dove into this mission, another thought bubbled to the surface—what about all that banana waste piling up and adding to CO₂ emissions? It felt like a problem begging for a creative solution.
That’s when we realized we could do something amazing. By turning banana fibers—something most people see as trash—into water filters, we’re solving two problems at once. More people get the clean water they need, and we reduce waste that harms the planet.
Our goal is simple: make life better for people while being kind to the Earth. At Fiber Flow, we believe even small ideas, like using banana fibers, can make a big difference.
“As someone who has lived in Angola for 5 years and seen firsthand, children struggle to find clean drinking water, I was inspired to create something to solve this critical issue.”
“My home country is Vietnam and around 65.2% of people living there don’t have access to clean water. This statistic made me realize how critical the clean water issue really is.”
“As someone who has lived in India, I have seen the struggles individuals in poverty deal with when it comes to finding clean drinking water. About half the Indian population has this issue and I want to change that.”
